What This Mom Saw on Her Daughter’s Facebook Page Brought Her to Tears
For most of us, our phone is our life line. Without it, we are lost. Our phone connects us to our friends, our family and our selfies. We are constantly texting, Facebooking, Whatsapping, right from our phone. Day or night, no matter what we are doing, we are always ready to reply to the next message within seconds. That is the mistake the girl in this video made. She received an SMS from her mom while she was driving. She went to answer it, and her life changed forever.
We have all heard, “Don’t Drink and Drive.” But using your mobile phone while driving is equally as dangerous. Studies done in the US reveal that 1 in 4 car accidents involve the use of mobile phones. And even using hands-free devices is not a solution because talking on the phone or texting while driving reduces a person’s reaction time, which in effect leads to accidents.
We all think it can’t happen to us, but it just takes one second for your life to change forever.
Next time you hear the message tone or your phone rings while you are driving, ask yourself, “Is it that important?” Nothing is that important.
