Every 3 minutes, there is a crime against women committed in India. This amounts to 480 crimes every day, 3,360 crimes every week and over 174,700 crimes every year against women in our country. The violence ranges from rape to female foeticide, to domestic violence to acid attacks to forced prostitution to dowry and honour killings, just to name a few.
This powerful short film is a reminder and a wake-up call. No woman in India is safe – be it you, your mother, your sister, your girlfriend, your neighbor – unless and until we take the first step and speak up.
